- Functions of the GREEN CAMPUS committee:
- To find out measures to keep campus neat and clean.
- To conduct programmes with the collaboration of government and non-government organizations like Swachchha Bharat Mission etc.
- To organize cleanliness programmes in college campus.
- To ensure proper waste management in college campus.
- To give suggestions for proper water conservation and management and find out the possibilities of the implementation of Rain water harvesting system in campus.
- To ensure pure drinking water for staff and students.
- Recommendation for plantation in college campus, where it is necessary.
- To final out measures for maximum use of solar energy and energy conservation.
- Maintenance of fire safety equipments.
- To prepare green Audit Report.
- At the end of academic year, a file containing a detailed report should be submitted & presented to the higher authorities.
